Nonostante la sua maldestraggine, Drebin scopre che Meinheimer, che aveva redatto il nuovo piano energetico nazionale, è stato rapito proprio dagli industriali che a quel piano si oppongono. Drebin smaschererà il complotto. Seconda puntata delle avventure oltre il limite del demenziale del tenente Frank Drebin, efficacemente interpretato da Leslie Nielsen.
