Il giorno di Natale si avvicina per tutte le famiglie alla ricerca del dono e contagia anche l'indaffarato uomo d'affari Howard Langston. Rendendosi conto che è stato ben poco vicino alla famiglia e al figlio, decide che gli farà avere il regalo più ambito:Turbo Man, il giocattolo dell'anno. Ma il pupazzo è introvabile, e Howard deve inoltre difendersi da chi, come uno strano Babbo Natale (Belushi) gli propone addirittura una copia del pupazzo che parla in coreano. Schwarzenegger continua a passare con disinvoltura dagli action movie alle commedie, ma i risultati delle seconde non sono all'altezza dei primi. Eppure Schwarzy ce la mette tutta, e la caccia al giocattolo preferito dal figlio diventa un'avventura slapstick.
